b) they all last far too long
c) Orlando Bloom is irritating
d) ditto Keira Knightley

DH is obsessed with them and watches them at every possible opportunity.We live in a very small, open plan house so there is no getting away from the incessant racket.

Even the luscious Johnny Depp cannot save this series from irritating the tits off me

I fell asleep in the third one - didn't have a clue what was going on - just endless drinking, battles, silly accents ('yo ho m'hearties), Keira trying to maximise what cleavage she has and some bit where Johnny Depp was dead, but wasn't.

I wouldn't say I loathe it but I didn't enjoy any of the films. I think the series is overrated.

I don't mind PotC but they are too long - I can't stand Lord of the Sodding Rings?

Someone once described it as a film about a walking holiday which is about right.

Ah, now I love LoTR - and have done since I was about 15 (am now 34)

My DP loves LotR as well unfortunately and all other kinds of Sci-Fi/fantasy. I just sit there thinking 'Oh dear God another fecking battle'
