Or rather, defend me in my self-righteous stance <I'm nice really> Walking up to school on Friday a woman parked right in front of me on the yellow zig zags. I said politely "Did you know you're not supposed to park there?" She said at once, oh yes, but I can't leave XXX [her granddaughter] all the way up the road and she's asleep and I can't move her." I said well that's not my worry but you're not meant to park here. She said the safety of her granddaughter was more important to her than the safety of the kids who might be affected by her dangerous behaviour! On the advice of school staff I took her reg number and called the police later. Don't suppose they'll do anything but it made me feel better. Am I a hideous busybody or do other people do this kind of thing?? (FWIW I suspect from the names of DGC she gave that I know the mum (ie her daughter) tho if I'm right the child asleep in the car who could not be moved or woken is a 6yo!)
