ApocalypseCheese

I'm guessing the fact that you have turned to being abusive means i've won the debate. All very sad.

THE END

I guess it is. Its a shame it had to end in one poster being abusive. Not surprising though. I blame the labour government. lol.

YABU

I have two beautiful tatoos.
You'd never guess to look at me. They're well-hidden and classy.
Bigots, OTOH, are common as muck

EricNorthmansmistress · 31/05/2010 08:09

I think you are a twat

MN you are welcome do remove this post but seriously - take a look at their other posts - this person is a twat.

EveWasFramed10 · 31/05/2010 08:16

OP...sorry you look too old to have tattoos. I have two very beautiful ones, got the first when I was 30, the second about a month ago at 37. So, no it's not you're age, it's you.

fyimate · 31/05/2010 08:47

To RedOnHerHead; Sorry to hear about you dropping those two 'friends' of yours, but you're right in not trusting people so easily, I've had this problem a lot in the past, and am unfortunate enough to have only met very untrustworthy people!

To BritFish; You're quite right, although seeing as he's already had two tattoos done I think he can handle the pain of another

ApocalypseCheese · 31/05/2010 08:55

Oh my GOD the shame.

I cannot believe I got into a row which descended into me telling the op's dad should have wiped her onto a tissue a flushed her down the loo to save the public from her idiocy

Op is a twat tho..... Can I suggest we ignore this thread now ?? The twat in question will be thriving on the attention..... can't imagine she gets much elsewhere

BelleDameSansMerci · 31/05/2010 09:00

Tee hee Cheesy - you're now the funniest MNer - as suspected!

SimonCowellIsSatan · 31/05/2010 09:02

I don't like seeing babies with tattoos.

KEAWYED · 31/05/2010 09:02

This thread did make me chuckle. It's like drunk texting

DSM · 31/05/2010 09:04

You own a big detached house and earn so much that you can send your children to posh school.

Shame money can't buy class.

HecateQueenOfWitches · 31/05/2010 09:08

I don't like them, I think they look awful.

So I haven't got one.

Quite simple really.

And I just can't be arsed to bother caring what other people do or do not do to their bodies if it does not directly affect me.

ApocalypseCheese · 31/05/2010 09:09

BELLE can't believe I lowered myself

I don't normally descend to twat level

Daddyshouldahaddahandjob might have to be reused tho, quite a goodun for me

KEAWYED In my case it WAS drunken texting my insults are all slurred

posieparker · 31/05/2010 09:11

Well, I think it looks common and so I don't have one. I do have to say that whilst on holiday I noticed every other woman either had a piercing or a tattoo, they also swore a lot and read tabloids....we hadn't researched the location very well.

Breasts, upper arms nor ankles look improved by tattoos, neither do shoulders nor bellies.

Kewcumber · 31/05/2010 09:12

I don't have a tatoo but I don't understand the argument that the downside is when yoou are 80 it will be wrinkly and not attractive. Ermm, well yes - everything is going to look wrinkly and not so attractive then, do you think that the thing putting the 25 year old young bucks off your lucious 80 year old body (and mind of course) is your wrinkly tatoo?

I plan to have my tatoo's at about 80 because I will have less time to get bored with them then.

sparklefrog · 31/05/2010 09:18

Personally, I don't like tattoos on women, just my personal preference. Ok ish on men. Never understood why anyone would have a DP/DH/DW's name tattooed on themselves.

I know a couple of women who think they look 'rough' so not sure this is a troll, but each to their own.

What I want to know is What is wrong with a pink mobile? (Mine is black btw but have had pink before and my mum has a pink phone.

Anyone?

ApocalypseCheese · 31/05/2010 09:19

I only have a tiny one on my wrist, you can barely see it and I wouldnt have a big one.

Couldnt give a toss what people do to there own bodies tbh.

Posie, those people would have been vile with or without tattoos, and I for one suspect there are far more vile people without tattoos than with them

Slippingthroughmyfingers · 31/05/2010 09:21

We call them tramp stamps in this house.

HecateQueenOfWitches · 31/05/2010 09:24

Kew - I have worked with the elderly and seen tattoos on very old people and they do not look good. Not at all.

But I suppose people get them because they think they look good now. I doubt anyone thinks I won't get one because when I'm 90 it'll look terrible on my wrinkly saggy arse.

posieparker · 31/05/2010 09:24

Sure, but I wasn't surprised, the two do seem to go together.

petisa · 31/05/2010 09:31

Fucking hell Gitchin are you for real with your pink/Jeremy Kyle/I own a big house crap????

I have one whole arm tattooed, will in the future have the other one done, and my whole back. I have a first class postgraduate degree, was asked if I'd like to do a PhD and become a university lecturer, both dp and I have our own businesses (dp has his own tattoo parlour), have travelled quite a bit and lived abroad a lot, speak four languages, only pink things are a couple of nice cardigans, sandals and dress, dd has a great diet and we are all veggie and eat loads of worthy lentil stews knitted by me, I'm a Guardian reader (and El Pais and le Monde)...happy now?!

People have tattooed their bodies since they all lived in caves and always will do so, no matter what your opinion of it is. How boring it would be if we were all boring bigoted faux-snobby Stepford wife types. People like art and like to express themselves. I can tell you that people from ALL walks of life get tattoos for all SORTS of reasons, and they do NOT include attention seeking. Admittedly there are a lot of horrible tattoos out there, but then there are a lot of ugly things in the world. There are many many beautiful tattoos out there created by talented tattoo artists using different, interesting artistic techniques. Tattooing is a very practical way of earning a living from art these days too.

Oh well, I'm going to stop ranting now as I have the feeling I'm talking to a thick, brick wall.
