Have just discovered a van shaped dent on the driver's side of my car which was parked outside my house. There is a house over the road that has builders working - have seen them doing 3 point turns in our busy road instead of going round the block like everyone else does. Grr.

YANBU....I would be fuming!!!

YANBU. I would be marching over there and demanding to speak to the numpty who did it tbh! Can you ahve a sneaky peek at the builders van to check for evidence? Paint/dent etc.........

I had this a few months ago, big dent in my passenger door which was parked outside in residents car park

I think it was neighbours ex who drives a MPV with tow bar but the CCTV wasnt working so cant prove it

Really upset me, and my car isnt that nice or fancy o you have my empathy

Thats crap - I scraped a merc last month, entirey my fault but I owned up to it and offered money/insurance. Luckily for me the lady didnt want it! Mistakes happen, but people should own up to them, it comes with the repsonsibility of having a car.

Giraffes - you will have riches in heaven for owning up - or something less religous.
