Can you get in round the back?

EnvelopeDuvet · 28/05/2010 13:16

YANBU, I would have thought putting a lock on would have been easier, unless they have a ferrari in there or something.

YANBU, sounds a bit weird and dodgy to me

Assuming the garage is attached to the house......

Have they actually cemented over the door or have they taken the door off, bricked it up and cemented over that?

If so, they're probably now using the garage as an unofficial extension in which case it might be of interest to the planning dept but not the police.

Loads of people in S London used to do this- my friend's sitting room was the garage and it was kind of obvious that was the case from the one minute window(was a massive house share so they didnt mind that much)

Ok- that is a bit weird then if the door is still on there but they've cemented it shut.

EdgarAllenPoll · 28/05/2010 13:30

good reasons to cement - to keep a car (or other valuable)safe for a long period

bad reasons. ... huge numbers most of them criminal - seems pretty odd to me OP

AmazingBouncingFerret · 28/05/2010 13:32

Is anyone else now dying to know whats inside the garage??

Meglet · 28/05/2010 13:34

dodgy IMO.

YANBU. PLEASE come back and tell us if you ever find out what's in there!
