never watched either of them, look shite imo

Can't see the appeal in them myself. I'm not really a girlie girl though, so a show on a group of women talking sex sounds kind of dull.

Don't get the SATC hype. But Desperate Housewives is my absolute favourite programme ever. I loved Friends too. Just finished watching it on DVD, again.

I hate both those two (SATC and DH). It seems to paint women in such a reductive way.

I hate SATC but will occasionally watch Desperate Plotlines (as DH calls it) if craving crap telly. Desperate is more palatable because it is high camp, almost cartoon-like, whereas SATC actually takes it self seriously in many ways.

I don't watch any of the programmes mentioned so far- some of my friends just don't get me All requires continuity so can't be arsed, even with sky+. Am a big fan of Lie to Me though.
