to update you on my mum and the pizza hut kerfuffle

long story short, ds ws confirmed yesterday, chose pizza hut for after mym mum said she would only come is he chose a proper meal...

soo... she waited till after when we were in the car park, asked ds if he was still going pizza hut, he said yes and she said " oh well, we are all going for a picnic instead"

turns out she had told my grandad thats what we were doing for his treat so he went as well...

so there was me, dp, ds and dd celebrating his confirmation and my family didnt even bother getting him a card ...

(pil (not ds's bio gp's) did go to the confirmation with card and present but they dont eat out at all)

Bloody hell!!! Can't believe your mum tried to manipulate the situation like that, and to tell other a different plan to the one you had already told her.

Next time you are having some sort of event, don't bother inviting her if she can't stick to your plans, and inform any family yourself over what is happening so she can't make stuff up. on your behalf!!!

we are getting married next year, seriously considering having the do at pizza hut

I have been a christenings with pizza hut delivery it was fun and thats what it is about isnt it? oh we did a pizza place for dd3's christening (not pizza hut but pizza still)
