Skips prettily about the vast empty potentiality of the empty Hall and awaits.

...I gave him an extra large portion of crumble and ice cream...

TinyApeInBigPants · 02/06/2010 07:41

Get you handing out your extra large portions willy nilly

Did you bend over in a low cut top and lick a dribble of ice cream off your finger in a suggestive manner? (sorry blame my weirdo poregnancy hormones)

You have to keep us updated Mimi...we want details od every visit please.

Hullygully · 02/06/2010 08:16

He LURVES you.

Bloody hell my brain is wrecked today, my spelling has gone to pot and I'm having odd/random/surreal thoughts.

Hullygully · 02/06/2010 09:55

You're allowed, dear Gibbon, darling electrical Nigel is wreaking havoc within...

TinyApeInBigPants · 02/06/2010 10:12

True Hully I think it's dawning on me, there is but a few weeks to go [gulp] so excited yet worried I'll cope ok...

Packing my bag this week as I learnt last time not having it ready was not such a good idea with such a quick labour. I think that is my fear tbh - DH has to travel back from London if he gets the call and last time DD was a week early and labour was only a few hours, just made it to hospital on time to push...have HUGE fear I will be on my kitchen floor with a 3 year old as a birthing partner...

Fucking hell

If there isn't - you've certainly spotted an opening..

MadameDefarge · 02/06/2010 10:17

gibber, swoon, gibber...

he is tall and handsome in a boyish way....and dark. I like dark. And keeps coming in in his doing up his new house clothes which is rather manly...

Hullygully · 02/06/2010 10:22

Flush him out.

Mimi: "Oh it's so nice that you like my food so much."

Manly dark one: "It's not just the food."

Mimi: blush and simper, bit of a bosom heave, "oh.."

MDO falls to one knee, "Will you marry me?"

Ahhhh, it will be just like a fillum.

MadameDefarge · 02/06/2010 10:57

is it an issue that he seems to be significantly younger than me? I mean, mid=thirties?

MadameDefarge · 02/06/2010 10:59

And Gibbon, don't worry about Nigel, remember he is a demi-god, and therefore more than capable of delivering himself, cutting the cord, checking the placenta, before making you a cup of tea...

TinyApeInBigPants · 02/06/2010 11:15

Age does not matter a jot Mimi darling, he sounds lovely (tall, dark and handsome) with your thighs and delicious food he is smitten I'm sure

I do forget that Nigel is a very capable baby, I must stop fretting.

Hullygully · 02/06/2010 11:16

Age doesn't matter, Mimi. He will have vigour and enthusiasm...

Gibbon, can you get a cab on standby? Have you got emergency dd care?

OP posts:
TinyApeInBigPants · 02/06/2010 11:49

Yes luckily have a few good friends that have said they will watch over her till my parents arrive to take over (they live in London too)

I think it's everyone telling me that this one is bound to be much quicker (DD was just under 4 hrs from first twinge to delivery) so I've got myself in a bit of a tizz these last few days worrying about it.

Midwife keeps asking if I have old sheets and towels prepared and that if in doubt call 999 and consider the fact that DH may not get there in time...I think it's the thought of being alone that worries me

I keep reminding everyone that this labour could be bloody hours for all we know.

Gibbon · 03/06/2010 08:47

How sad that it feels too weird not being Gib

Hullygully · 03/06/2010 09:21

That's much better. You ARE Gibbon, you see. It does look much more natural having Gibbon in the name bit.

Hope Nigel is behaving?

OP posts:
Gibbon · 03/06/2010 09:28

Hully my lovely

Yes he is poking, prodding and rolling around to his hearts content this morning.

How are you? And DS and DD?

Hullygully · 03/06/2010 09:34

We is all good. Half term but kids on course all mornings so lovely old peace and quiet for me and fresh air and activity for them.

And it's a lovely day..

OP posts:
Gibbon · 03/06/2010 09:46

Isn't it gorgeous, looking forward to going out a bit later and enjoying it.

Days like this I wish I could go for a long hack.

Hullygully · 03/06/2010 09:56

Hoh yes. The dc are riding. I never seem to get round to it anymore, unless we're away.

OP posts:
Gibbon · 03/06/2010 10:28

Oh Lucky DS and DD

I don't get to go much now sadly. Last one was just before dear Nigel was sparked into life. I often wonder about having another horse but I know in reality it's just not a good idea.

I think I'm just tring to recapture my carefree youth

Hullygully · 03/06/2010 10:41

You had a horse..?

OP posts:
Gibbon · 03/06/2010 11:19

I was very lucky I know, I think my parents were just so relieved I was obsessed with horses and not make up or boys (that came later, bless them)

It is so much more expensive these days, I was when I looked into it a little while ago.

CaptainDarcyCasuabonHenchard · 03/06/2010 20:37

Dear ladies!

That Mimi (comely wench) and her new chevalier... If his intentions are not honourable, I shall simply have to horse-whip the bounder.

Dear Madame Gibbon in TinyApe unmentionables - all good wishes, m'dear. Never too soon to sign up little Nigel to horseback! Madame Hully and the Hullylets will show the way!
