Apparently we are not going to be able to wear England shirts or fly England flags soon for fear of being 'offensive'.

I for one am offended by this.

Rabs are you sure about that, last World Cup all the Scots I know were claiming to have Ecuadorian blood and proudly wearing their colours in pubs when England were due to play them

It's not british jobs for british people. It's british jobs for white british people.

All people have done is tell you that there is nothing official, nothing coming from the government that says they are planning to do any of the things you said re the england flag. I'll admit they could have done it in a kinder and less mocking way, but they're just telling you that facebook is not a reliable source of information on government policy.

In our town there is a main road which is residential and a ggod night spot where the majority of people libing there are of a different nationality.
We have been warned not to wear our England shirts, etc whilst down there so we don't incite a riot!

It is disgraceful that we can't support our team for fear of reprisals. 6 Years ago there was some trouble when England played and quite a few fights and cars getting smashed.

Surely anyone wearing a football shirt in this heat is likely to be suffering from some severe sweat-related issues? Maybe it's advice from Health and Safety

I believe it is true that in one area someone wrote to the pubs and suggested to avoid trouble during the world cup that ALL football shirts (regardless of were banned...........but afaik none of the pubs took it up anyhow.

Everyone should be banned from wearing them, they give you terrible static hair.
