I've spent hours(!) working on the garden today, getting beds ready for planting tomorrow.
Dh kept an eye on the dc while I did this- sort of satisfying seeing it all done and looks loads better.

So I'll be damned if cats come and poo in it tonight!!
Sprinkled mix hot chilli flakes and orange peel in the areas where I dug today. Hope a cat gets a stingy bum because muggins here is the one who had to scoop out all the old cat poo today!!
Fed up finding it when the dcgo out to play. They couldn't even 'help' me today as was too scared what they would find/ play with!!!

Aaaargh!!

But garden does look lovely now, and smells.....erm...interesting!

sharp sticks work too.I'm using broken canes scattered about so its difficult to get between & get enough room to do anything.

HM - lol i have just asked DH to go to tesco's on his way home from work to pick up chilly powder for the exact same reason as you - ring sting , we have tried the orange peels but that didn't work , we are hoping to get a puppy soon so need to get rid of the stray cats poo in the garden .

I'm a cat lover and I'd still say YANBU. Better that than some of the things I have heard suggested to keep cats out.
