AIBU or just sensible, my little old girl Jr terrier is looking longingly at me to go for her mile or so walk.I think it is just too hot for her romp till at least six or so.I have seen a few dogs suffering in the blazing sun today, I think if possible it is more sensible to go for a walk much later on.My little dog thinks I am bvu.

I have filled the childrens old plastic sandpit with water so my stoopid spaniel can go a lie in it when he gets too hot from pestering people to throw his ball.
Mine don't seem to have the sense to slow down a bit when its hot.
Should be ok this time of day for a walk though, it will be cooling down a bit by now.

fruit shoot That is a good idea re the sandpit, my little pooch is a water phobe though. One of my cats has enjoyed trying to catch the water out of the water pistol though this afternoon. hours of fun.
