"I hope you have the correct postage for those, I've cashed up"
"Are you planning on paying by card, because I've switched it off now and i'll have to put it on again just for you"
"can you not come back on Monday"(next time it's in village. Then when I ahnded over £10 note to pay for £5.45 bill, she said "oh, I'm going to have open up the till now and then re-do the takings,hmph,hmph.
AIBU to have said to her "well, actually you advertise you are open until 5.00pm, so why have you cashed up now when it's only 4.45"
