a fake louis vuitton handbag. I had no choice, I'm not miffed that it's a free handbag, just that a major high street bank can give away something that is so obviously a fake (plastic string holding a photocopied 'label'. Surly they should have binned it? What on earth should I do with it? Anyone want it?

report them to the local trading standards office...

...although on second thoughts, our taxes would be paying any fine that they are likely to get!

That's one shite prize alright.
Ask the manager if they realise they're giving away shoddy fakes and whether they've ever heard of trading standards.

The woman on the desk said 'ohh, do you think it's real?'
Obviously not, there's even plastic over the strap, there's 9.99 written on the 'tag' and the 's' is missing from Paris. Naughty Barclays!! I don't know what to do with it. It doesn't feel right to take it to the charity shop, it's just passing on fake goods.

Ooooh say you're going to the papers and Trading Standards unless they get you a real one!

belledechocolatefluffybunny · 19/05/2010 16:37

lol!

I may take pictures and send them to the CEO!!

with their profits, they could have given a whole suite of matching luggage etc

trading standards and a little article in the local rag should guarantee you a real one!
