I don't have fertility problems - I would just love to have twins. I would purchase it online. Apparently it's all the rage in America.

Oh do go away.

fabhead · 17/05/2010 19:44

Are you Jordan?

fabhead · 17/05/2010 19:44

or Matthew Wright?

mumof2teenboys · 17/05/2010 19:45

wasn't this done a while ago?

AMumInScotland · 17/05/2010 19:47

So, you feel it would be nice to increase the risks to your own health and those of your as-yet-unborn children, just because you "love" the idea? Not very sensible IMO. The human body is not designed to carry more than one baby to term - it's a sign of our improved medical care that most twins turn out ok, not a reason to deliberately try to do this for no good purpose.

Hulababy · 17/05/2010 19:47

You shouldn't take Clomid unless under direction from a doctor/consultant. I doubt any doctor in the UK is likely to prescribe you Clomid unless you have fertility issues.

I have taken Clomid unsuccessfully. Fpr 6 mnths I had incredible mood swngs - mainly feeling very low. They are heavy duty IMO and really affect your hormons. Why would anyone do it to themselves unless they need to.

You also need monitoring with Clomid for medical reasons.

HecateQueenOfWitches · 17/05/2010 19:49

I don't think that would be a very sensible idea.

AnyFucker · 17/05/2010 19:59

fuck off, ya dozy mare

< enjoyed that ! >

Lulumaam · 17/05/2010 20:00

You are mad and should be stopped, if you are real, of course.

piprabbit · 17/05/2010 23:35

YABU.

wannaBe · 17/05/2010 23:38

actually wasn't the one we had before from someone who claimed to have done it and then didn't know how/if to tell their dh?

Unless I've missed one in between times.

piprabbit · 17/05/2010 23:47

and there was the one by someone whose friend was planning to do it.

YABVU indeed. Also, selfish, inconsiderate, stupid, unthinking.
SO... what if you do this and conceive 4 babies or 6 babies then what? I won't go into the issues for both baby and mothers health with this scenario, clearly no point with someone so ridiculous.

I MUST stress here, I have no issues with anyone taking it for real true medical reasons, and of course the possible resulting multiple births... just to clarify and not to offend any SANE person reading this.

Drayford · 18/05/2010 00:01

I obviously missed this topic first time around, but, dear poster (or journo, whatever) ffs some of us (particularly those of us - me inluded- who suffer from PCOS) had to take clomid just to have an outside chance of conceiving.

If you have no fertility problems please be happy with your lot!

Clomid is an unpleasant drug to take - google the side effects.

ditto the dozy mare comment!!!!

ZacharyQuack · 18/05/2010 00:17

YANBU. Take a double dose and have quads.

Thediaryofanobody · 18/05/2010 00:29

This has been done before so A- for effort.

Your obviously ignorant too about the dangers of multiple pregnancies, maybe read up on that first.

Not to mention actually RAISING multiple children not just dressing them up and parading them around for everyone coo over how cute they are, they'll have their own little personalities and will more than likely share them with you nice and loudly all at the same time.

TopsyKretts · 18/05/2010 00:30

It's a shame that the trolls are having to repeat themselves.

Thediaryofanobody · 18/05/2010 00:33

Tell me about it Topsy you'd never have this sort of lazy troll in the old days.
