It is my DSs birthday today and i've been to my moms and didn't get back until 7pm. My DP and I don't live together although he stays here most nights and we had arranged that he would be staying tonight, he would usually come round about half 7.
I needed to go to the shop and get some stuff for school lunches, so instead of taking DS1 and DS2 I thought I would put them to bed and go when DP was here, I should have gone earlier in the day but we were out for the day, my fault but still I thought I could go this evening,
DP texts me and says he has gone for a drink with his family and would be back later - fine, I watched Ashes to Ashes quite happily until it occured to me to ask him whether he has his key, he does not.
So, with him knowing that I will have to wait up for him I expected him to be home at closing time, again this is fine, i'll have to go the shops in the morning to do the sandwiches but like I said I should've gone earlier.
Then he text me at midnight saying they had all moved on to his relatives house. I text him back and asked if he would rather stay there the night and he said no he wanted to stay here, he was meant to be staying because we have the cable man coming at 9am and I will be on the school run.
And now i'm tired and grumpy, have to get up extra early in the morning to go shopping and I want to go to sleep. So, AIBU to sulk when he finally rolls in drunk??
