to quite like the cuddles I get when DD hurts herself

Bit lighthearted this (she says quickly). Now that DD (10months) is crawling and cruising and getting into EVERYTHING she's naturally getting some bumps along the way. When she hurts herself to bring on tears I get the lovliest cuddles, real "I need my mummy".
Naturally I dont want her to hurt herself on a regular basis, but AIBU to quite like the cuddles I get when she does?

No they are very sweet, aren't they. I think it is just the knowledge that they automatically some to you for comfort when they are hurt or upset!

My DD has never been very affectionate and i usually only get a cuddle when she's hurt herself!

Not that I want her to hurt herself, obviously, I know exactly what you mean
