You go for it. I can always find more important things to do that housework

JaxTellersOldLady · 16/05/2010 10:36

go to the cinema, nobody ever died of having an untidy house!

YANBU have the day off, could you do a shopping online? and stick a load of washing on before you go to the cinema?

NorbertDentressangle · 16/05/2010 10:44

I like the fact that you're asking a load of slackers who are sitting at their PCs rather than doing anything housework if its OK

I'm still sitting here in my dressing gown, the DCs are still in their PJs...I think you can safely say that I'd go with the cinema option!

Poledra · 16/05/2010 10:48

I'd go with the cinema option but, the way I'm feeling, I'd go on my own..........

Ripeberry · 16/05/2010 11:00

I sometimes like to lie-in on a Sunday for as long as possible.
Getting up means a non-stop round of cleaning, tidying, washing and this is a weekend!

Lauriefairycake · 16/05/2010 11:00

housework will always be there

precious moments watching films with your family are few and far between

If you don't go I'll say more revolting, bleurghy, sick-making shite like the last sentence

ChazsBarmyArmy · 16/05/2010 18:46

I left the washing in the machine and dishes in the sink and took kids to the cinema this morning and we had popcorn.

Time well spent, I have no emotional attachment to the washing up!

feelingafailure · 16/05/2010 18:52

well done.of course we have to wash up but having fun and being happy is more important.

I try not to have to do every thing all the time but it gets done eventualy.lol x
