To think if I go to Tesco on the 13th I expect to be able to buy food that will last longer then the 14th

I have just returned with half a shop (tin/jars/ frozen) as most of the fresh stuff was going out of date tomorrow

That annoys me too! I like to do a weekly shop at the most but would rather do fortnightly. But often find bread, milk, e.t.c... goes out of date really soon. Really annoys me.

It's like this at both Sainsbury and Tesco in my area. Well done to them for becoming efficient in their supply logistics - but it's terrible for the customers.
