went to the market to get my veg, stood under the hood thing (whats it called awning thing?) and it dumped water all over my 14 month old dd! it wasnt raining any more

aibu to think the people on the market should be aware and drain it off (it hadnt been raining for an hour) or at least have bloody apologised instead of looking like nothing had happened!

hmmmm were they busy? had they noticed it? did they see it happen?

other side of that argument is you shouldnt have taken your daughter under it if it had rain on it (I am not saying that it is that way)

but really stuff happens sounds like an accident to me they happen

I would have asked loudly for help and likely also been blinking annoyed and complained loudly that it had not been taken off but apart from that?

Given my dd a big hug likely a treat somewhere along the way home and then forgot about it (only next time I would have checked for rain)
