AIBU to be absolutely shattered that the new PM is younger than I am. (Only just).

It's a very weird experience. My whole life,people in authority have always been older than I am.

Cameron is a little older than me but not much. DH was 40 yesterday and it was very weird to spend a fair part of his birthday evening watching our generation go about forming government

I remember when Tony Blair got in, everyone saying what a 'young' PM he was at 43, and I thought WTF were they talking about, 43 wasn't young. Read it and weep ...

It's v scary - he was born in the same year as most of the boys we hung around with when I was in the 6th form. Who knows, he may have been one of them on Eton Bridge, where we used to hang out - nooooooooo...
