Basically, I am a SAHM who went back into education after a long break.

I'm knackered and I mean really knackered pretty much all the time and for the past eight years I feel all I've done is feed them at one end and mop it up at the other.

However, my work has gone well. Here are some recent remarks about my most recent piece of work (and I promise I'm not taking them out of context

Vivid;
Insightful;
Very well written;
Sharp, intelligent writing

I was also marked and given a first!

I could say more but modesty forbids me.

Back to the original question; am I wrong to boast?

no you are not wrong to boast, well done, it is a big step getting back out there,good luck.

No - good for you. I think that it is really important for us SAHMs (and people in general) to do something which gives them visible results or positive feedback. Parenting is rewarding, but very much in a long-term way. So good on you

It's a vocational type of degree LeQueen. Don't want to say too much on the ridiculous basis that somebody in RL spots me.

I'm in a v similar situation...can I add a little boast onto your thread? I just got 90% on my last assignment of the year for an advanced module on neuroscience and pharmacology.
