PM is a terribly pressured job with very long hours.
Just think, by taking a lead on this they could send out a strong message about the importance of fatherhood and work-life balance, and the viability of part-time working.

Can't you just see the notes they will write each other - 'Dear Nick, I returned from the G7 summit this morning to discover that not only had someone, in my absence, chosen to use my mug, they had not even bothered to wash it up. There were what appeared to be coffee stains inside it and large smears of lipstick on the rim. I am not unreasonable about this - I have no objection to your using my mug to make Miriam coffee if she visits during the day as long as it is not too frequent, but would you PLEASE make sure it is washed up afterwards.
