To ask for people to vote for my 7 year olds 'Pet of the week' competition?

Ds1 keeps going on and on (and on) about our cat (well, turned into 'his' cat as they have a special bond!) being on the TV. It's a competition on Boomerang and he'd be totally made up if his beloved pet got through. The link is here

We lost our cat of 11 years not that long ago and eventually got another one through the Cat Protection League and when we got this new one, ds1 was terrified to start with (as he was funny on the first day here). Since then they'd become amazingly close and they have such a special bond and I'd love for him to get his wish and for him to win this silly Pet of the Week competition

Feel free to ignore, I just promised I'd post on MN as you never know, it just may help give it a boost.

voted - lovely cat - ds was terrified of cats until fairly recently...

Awww thanks. Not the best pic of the cat but ds1 wanted to be in the pic too . Ds1 was always ok with cats as we'd had our other one since he was born (which is why he found it so hard when he died) but dogs he was terrified of until recently. Anyway, this new cat (we've had a couple of months now) was a bit off on the first 2 days and scratched ds1 so he wanted him to go back to CPL and wouldn't go near him then one day something changed and they are adorable together now

No4 - no I haven't as I didn't want people getting p'd off with me plastering it all over MN!! LOL. I haven't been in 'chat' for a couple of years so felt I shouldn't. Having said that, so many people have been so lovely, I can't believe how many have voted Ds1 is so excited!!
