I keep opening threads and finding them turning political and it's PISSING ME OFF.
It's not the be all and end all of life, I'd rather talk about P and T parking ffs!

Do something else then- its not obligatory to sit on here all day.

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 06/05/2010 06:36

Oh don't be boring, you know what i mean. In my spare bursts of time I liek to come on and check but am alw=mopst scared to click on threads in case a politroll pops up and starts haranguing me

Much more improtant to discuss Me Too and wtf that doctor has a childminder for her dog.

Ok I'll talk about p&c spaces for you I saw a blonde glam 30 something year old zoom in to the car park in a sports car yesterday and part in a p&c parking space, no children, not even any car seats to pretend, was disabled spaces free, no blue badge and she was wearing jogging clothes and power walked in to tesco oozing expensive perfume out her pores. I judged.

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 06/05/2010 06:43

Ohh yes, judge away.
I did see a woman pull up the other day as I was getting ready to go, sporty car, no car seats, very glam, started judging and she had one of those lie flat really expensive seats you can't see through the window. oops

have just found otu we have a new H and M opening today and there are gift vouchers for first 200 customers. The thing is, if I dont get a voucher I can't afford to shop, so do I go or not....hmmm

weegiemum · 06/05/2010 06:49

I saw a toddler in a huuuuuge fancy buggy blocking the aisle on a bus while eating a Greggs Sausage Roll and a Fruit Shoot at 10pm last night and the Mum was waering a "Vote BNP" rosette.

Oooops sorry went political!

PrettyCandles · 06/05/2010 06:49

Ah, but if we have a hung parliament could your situation improve to the extent that you will be able to shop?

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 06/05/2010 06:58

Watch it you lot.

Pavlov · 06/05/2010 07:06

So, with P&T child parking, you know some place say they will fine you if you use them when you should not, how do they know, do they like watch you as you leave and return? Do they ticket on the basis of whether you have a car seat and a sign saying 'daddy's little princess on board' pile of shite in the car like a bike, a random shoe, the odd stray nappy?

BertieBotts · 06/05/2010 07:09

Ooh, def go to H&M! They have some gorgeous shorts in for boys at the moment.

BeenBeta · 06/05/2010 07:24

There is fair chance that by the end of the day we will have an AIBU on the provision of P&C parking spaces at polling stations.

Parents with children could be disenfranchised by the lack of a P&C parking space. None of the main parties are addressing that issue and the Greens just want it all to go away by telling us not to drive.

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 06/05/2010 07:59

half a pack of cheerios spilled down the back footwell?

bertie, I only have DD's but thanks for the tip

Been, meh, our polling station is DD1's school and there aren't any disabled spaces, let alone any other type of space. We have been told it is the worst example of roads outside a school the surveyor had ever seen [proud]

OP posts:
NoahAndTheWhale · 06/05/2010 08:01

Parking outside our polling station is very limited. I will be walking

BertieBotts · 06/05/2010 08:06

Oh well they had some gorgeous dresses for girls aged 1-8 as well if that is any good to you - I only have a DS so I made myself go very quickly through that section in case it made me broody

porcamiseria · 06/05/2010 08:44

Jack......its election day..what do you expect. at least people give a shit!

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 06/05/2010 08:47

I give a shit. Just not enough to want to be politrolled, anyway, off to take DD2 to playgroup and find somethign to do with DD1.

OP posts:
PrettyCandles · 06/05/2010 08:50

Don't worry about lack of P&T parking spaces outside polling stations. So few people bother to vote that there's always plenty of space.

GetOrfMoiLand · 06/05/2010 08:52

I park in P&T bays and I have a teenager. I also have blonde hair and wear suits. Judge away.

Well it is a election, and most of the UK will be talking about it and hopefully voting, and as its the UK's D day for voting, is presumably why their is threads relating to it!

you dont have to read them, hind them and Voila best of both worlds!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 06/05/2010 09:32

so... have you voted yet?

fridascruffs · 06/05/2010 09:36

The Tories will get rid of P&C parking spaces. Part of Osborne's cuts.

fridascruffs · 06/05/2010 09:36
Wink
JackBauerIsZonerrific · 06/05/2010 12:25

Of course, with Dh and we took DD1 who was very excited

Had a loevly morning actually, as she was off and DD2 had her one day of nursery we spoiled her, went to a motorbike shop (that's her idea of a good time again) then starbucks and supermarket.
She kept saying 'It's so nice just us 3, isn't it?

Anyway, when you see a woman wearing fuck me shoes and a miniskirt at 10am, is it just me that thinks 'hooker' instantly?

OP posts:
Cherrybaby · 06/05/2010 16:10

ROFL at fuck me shoes

I might have a pair of those lurking around somewhere...but then again, I'd never wear them at 10am. Definitely to supermarket. Or even starbucks.

Maybe to a motorbike shop?........................................

Nah

Cherrybaby · 06/05/2010 16:11

I meant definitely NOT to supermarket or starbucks! Freudian slip
