To encourage the children to play loudly upstairs while DH is sleeping off his hangover?

The hangover caused by the drunkeness that ensured he snored like a freight train in my ear all night ensuring I didn't get an ounce of sleep. Even dd1 came in from her own room to tell me that she couldn't sleep because of the noise Daddy was making.

And the same drunkeness that made him think it was okay to fall asleep with his knees wedged into the bottom of my back all night, refusing to wake up and move.

And which caused him to spread himself across the bed, taking up at least 2 thirds of the space.

The drunkeness which occurred last night whilst I was waiting up for him until 1:45am wondering where the hell he was, as the pub shuts at 11pm and he never bothered telling me he was going elsewhere afterwards.

So AIBU? Because I really don't think I am.

Not in the slightest, can you ask your DC to do the hoovering and practice some karaoke too.

YABU. Punishment not harsh enough. Send them in to play with him and go on your own to friend for coffee/Stately Home/Harvey Nicks.

Oh Karaoke. We have one of those upstairs. And an actual drum and a trumpet.

Me feels band practise coming on

Hilarious. Feel your pain. DH got in at 6am after having promised me he was going to get up with DS this morning. I made him get up anyway (or rather not go to bed at all) while I had a lie in. DS going through a particularly vile, tantrummy stage at mo, hehe
