Make him a bacon butty and some chips, cake and lard for breakfast.

catinboots · 03/05/2010 09:55

on no. men are so infuriating. I stopped buying biscuits last week and DH lost over half a stone. He stood and the scales and said "How the hell did that happen??" If inly I found it that easy...

catinboots · 03/05/2010 09:56

only

Kbear · 03/05/2010 10:00

tell him real mean weigh at least 14 stone.... that's burst his smug happy bubble of weightlessness

Kbear · 03/05/2010 10:01

real MEN ...

deaddei · 03/05/2010 10:02

How tall is he?

Macforme · 03/05/2010 10:03

My DH is just the same... has a physical job and eats like a horse..but if he leaves off the biscuits for 3 days he's 7 pounds lighter... or actually if he just goes for a poop.....

He is SO fond of telling me how lucky I am to have a man with a 32 inch waist at his age (48 ...gulp). I think he's compensating for his lack of hair..

HumphreyCobbler · 03/05/2010 10:05

that is indeed supremely irritating

my dh goes on a 'one piece of cake ONLY' diet and loses weight

NomDePlume · 03/05/2010 10:07

10 stone is a bit off putting for a bloke, if you ask me.

biddysmama · 03/05/2010 10:09

start putting bacon fat into all his food...

Amandoh · 03/05/2010 10:10

This must be the day of the year that men get on the scales and announce their weight.

DP actually woke me up to tell me that he weighs 17stone 6lbs this morning. "That's good" I said.

Considering the amount of empty crisp and peanut bags he hides leaves in the car it is good!

How tall is your DH Trixie123?

lucykate · 03/05/2010 10:10

blimey, 10 stone is light for a bloke, but how tall is he?

trixie123 · 03/05/2010 10:11

he is about 5'10 and not skinny, quite toned actually. Our DS loves watching him do press ups so he does them to amuse him. I think they just see food differently. If you ask if he wants chocolate he'll say, "no, not hungry" which wasn't the question...but perhaps explains why he is 10 stone and I'm not!

So frustrating!

My DP eats a proper breakfast, lunch, twice as much dinner as I do, chocolate bars every day, PLUS fat-boy pasties, and has a sit-on-his-arse job.
I go to the gym EVERY day, eat only fruit for breakfast, low fat lunch etc etc and weigh a stone more than him. He?s tall and toned, and I can see his ribs when he?s run out of mars bars for a few days.
I?m flabby and curvy and struggle for weeks to lose A SINGLE POUND.

There should be a law against it?.
