Ive been thinking about this and I dont see how any intelligent, empathetic, normal decent person can believe in their policies let alone support them and i have come to the conclusion that those who are vocal in support must be so in order to be controversial. i mean, it works. as dh just said to me when i was ranting about a thread, its got me riled up about it.

Yes. You have to be a) a Nazi, or b) a bit thick, or c) trying to be controversial. YANBU.

If you look at the type of brain donor they appeal to, you can see a trend toward the dysfunctional attention seeker. "oh look at me, I'm going to get attention, good or bad." It's just a tantrum and they will grow out of it.

Personally, I blame the parents.

I've never met anyone who admits to supporting them.

Me neither but there are one or two posters here who support them.

Don't worry about it - I feel the same way about Labour supporters.

It scares the shit out of me that it is now almost socially acceptable to openly admit supporting the BNP.

I think in some areas there must be people who would rather say they vote for these nazis than say they drink and drive....or don't wear a seatbelt....or smoke in front of their kids....or smack them....or weaned their baby at 12 weeks........

or are mentally ill, as i suspect my dear dad is (i think he's got early stage dementia).

The arguments I've had with him about the BNP. He just doesn't see the bigger picture and lives in his own little bubble.

ive met a couple and have despaired when talking to them about how much they "love england" and that "we fought two wars" etc yet they dont seem to grasp that we fought to protect people (including the country tehy "love") from people like them.
