First baby the weight just fell off, tummy nice and flat after 6 weeks.

Second time round
Running around after a toddler and a new born, breastfeeding and only getting to eat twice a day???? Why the hell isn't it shifting!!!!!!!!!!!

AIBU to expect to have lost it by now!! Lost it in the physical and emotional sense!!!

After I got pregnant with my fourth now I am 26 weeks and look like there is a toddler in there not a baby. I was on a diet and lost wieght but not much off my tummy - which made it look worse.

If you are still breastfeeding then I assume your baby is probably under 2 (I know people breastfeed longer than this but most dont) so dont worry although eat more than twice a day I get wierd and bloated when I skip meals which wont help.

ok that went wrong that was supposed to say

After I was pregnant with my third I looked pregnant until I got pregnant with my fourth and am now 26 weeks...
maybe I DO need to rest more {hmm}

mine 2... i had ds at 18. was a stone over weight when he was born...breastfed and lost it no problem

had dd at 26.. put on loads when i was pregnant, even tho i have to trek him half hour each way down a hill and up a hill to school.... then i pushed a pram (loola, not light!) and breastfed and pu on weight!!

god knows what gunna happen this time... probably end up with ds rolling me to school everyday!

Fernie admit it - you got pregnant again because you were sick of being asked, so you thought, ah well may as well...

Mine is taking a long time to shift too, but its going in the right direction. Hang in there!

SloanyPony · 29/04/2010 21:39

By the way, if I wear Spanx or some other shapewear, I look pregnant because it makes my fat belly look rock hard and smooth like a pregnant bump. So I just let it separate into to cheeky rolls, one above the jeans, one below

Biscuit anyone?

Feck it, have the whole pack

biddysmama · 29/04/2010 21:40

do you all have a 'belly bum' as well?

my bumps just growing into the skin dd left behind which is nice lol

HeadFairy · 29/04/2010 21:42

tryingtobe... it's a total myth that bfing makes you lose weight, the hormones make you hungrier so any calories expended are usually made up for in the extra food you consume. Our bodies haven't evolved fast enough for them to realise we don't need any extra calories. I mean, why on earth is my adrenal system telling my brain I'm still hungry when I'm carrying 3 stone extra??? Go figure

fernie3 · 29/04/2010 21:46

sloanypony you caught me!. Hasn't really worked now people say things like "not long to go now!" and I smile and agree because I dont want to say that actually I still have about 13 weeks to go - its going to get a little hard for me when May turns to June and June to July and I am still pregnant.... After this one is born I will have to wear a sling to carry it in to hide my tummy. Im not sure number 5 will be that practical lol.

tryingtobemarrypoppins2 · 29/04/2010 21:46

Don't tell me that HeadFairy, SloanyPony made me hungry so I opened the fridge!

Fernie... I can beat that. Someone asked me a few weeks back how long I had to go, meaning until the baby was born. I was too embarrassed to admit dd was 8 weeks old so as she's quite small still I pretended she was only a week old and I still had that just-had-a-baby-belly look!

VirginonRidiculous · 29/04/2010 22:59

I wera tops to hide it. Hoping that after having ds2 it'll go when he starts to move around and I'm trying to keep up with him. Eating pies doesn't help me any. Wish I had willpower. I'm hoping my tummy doesn't turn in to a 'front bum' (where the stomech starts from the flange to the tummy button) it's heading that way [worried face emiticon/whilst having another pie]
