YANBU...they're DElICIOUS

Pavlov · 25/04/2010 12:51

yes because it is horrible. I really dont like mint chocolate, however, i would eat it if it was the only chocolate offered.

giraffesCANdriveAcar · 25/04/2010 12:53

yanbu - mint is a herby thing and therefore a whole bar is one of your 5 a day. I am a brain surgeon, I know these things

EccentricaGallumbits · 25/04/2010 12:55

so would 5 cover my veg intake for a wholeday then?

i'm feeling bit queesy.

I understand that they are not as large as they used to be ( the ever informative WatchDog TV programme) so no - you need to eat about 3 to be unreasonable...

gingernutlover · 25/04/2010 13:00

dont do it - I did and now my jeans dont fit

was worth it at the time tho

Swanky · 25/04/2010 13:09

YANBU I can eat a milk chocolate one in one sitting and have room for a glass of wine

Anste · 25/04/2010 13:14

YANBU It's got to be done - the odd time.

baskingseals · 25/04/2010 13:18

make those calories count that's what i say - it really annoys me when i want some chocolate and there's only tesco mint sandwich biscuits and i end up eating those and wasting allocated chocolate calories

you savour it

tartyhighheels · 25/04/2010 13:21

That is one of the most reasonable things i have heard all day, and it ismint flavoured which is practically a vegetable

Pavlov · 25/04/2010 13:28

I am starting to worry about MN...how could you like aero it is just wrong.

SirBoobAlot · 25/04/2010 13:32

Rockbird · 25/04/2010 14:18

YABU because it's Nestle, as you know. But seeing as it's already been bought it would be rude to then not eat it.

giraffesCANdriveAcar · 25/04/2010 15:51

No one only counts as one portion. You need to eat other things too!

For example a choclate orange

onthepier · 25/04/2010 16:57

I love mint aeros and have just discovered the ice cream version, mint ice cream at one end and choc the other, Mmmmmm!

lolapoppins · 25/04/2010 17:23

I like the mint chocolate = one of your five a day thinking on this thread.

I am always very healthy at Christmas. All that Quality Street with it's strawberry, orange, mint and nuts. I should eat pike that everyday, really.

SimpleAsABC · 25/04/2010 17:27

I could murder a chocolate orange! Wonder if the spar does the them? If I walk to the shop am I allowed to have it??

LittleMrsHappy · 25/04/2010 17:47

YABU, just simply that it is nestle!

jemart · 25/04/2010 17:54

yanbu if it made you feel better.

ilovecats · 25/04/2010 17:56

Yummm- YANBU at all!

I love the idea of it being one of your 5 a day.

Does Bounty count?

Coldhands · 25/04/2010 18:34

YANBU, best chocolate bar ever. My dad got me a massive one one easter. Was lovely!

southeastastra · 25/04/2010 18:35

hmm i just had a big marathon, being topical and that

Conundrumish · 25/04/2010 18:38

Don't forget the iron in chocolate too - I think you will be OK on the vitamin and mineral front as well. Better eat two just to make sure.
