Girls Pants!

I have to be careful here, but have you ever watched little girls in the playground? I am a mum of one such little girl so its ok. We all know our kids don't care about doing stuff we as adults would never do in public, Saying what they think, staring, adjusting their underware in full view of anyone. I am talking pants here. Why can't you buy full pants anymore! Briefs, shorts, thongs even but pants that cover all and are comfy. I have found a company that supply dance and gym kits that make full pants but they cost over £3 a pair. For the sake of decency, has anyone got any ideas?

Where do you get the £3 pants from. I need some proper pants for dd and btw I agree and deplore the knicker situation for girls.

My dd is never comfortable in her pants. They are either like shorts which seem to be uncomfortable around the crutch (sp!) or really brief - she is pulling them up all the time. If anyone knows where I can get some decent girls knickers aged 9-10 please let me know!!

LauraIngallsWilder · 24/04/2010 23:26

Welcome to MN
Do you work for David luke or Dancers?
Or maybe (to use a well loved MN term) you are in fact a hairy arsed trucker

I have a dd
She has a load of knickers
They all fit her perfectly well, zero problems with 'decency'

Why the need for 'full pants' exactly?

No way would I pay £3 for one pair of kids knickers...........

Kafka9 · 24/04/2010 23:31

Thanks Cleveridea I will look out for them.

Can't find them on a 'google' though.

Lol at Laura but good news you don't need to be on this thread!

paisleyleaf · 24/04/2010 23:33

What's wrong with pants like these?

LauraIngallsWilder · 24/04/2010 23:33

I just dont get it!
But maybe that is because my dd is only 5

Does the supply of sensibly designed knickers suddenly disappear once a dd needs aged 9-10 clothes or something - serious question btw!

LauraIngallsWilder · 24/04/2010 23:35

Quite Paisley - that is what my dd has got
What IS wrong with those??????
Or same style, different pattern/colour

paisleyleaf · 24/04/2010 23:38

I thought we were talking about 5 year olds - I can't imagine 9-10 year olds adjusting their underwear in full view of everyone.

OMG they are absolutely AWFUL

If that is what is meant by 'full knickers'
At £3-5 a pair

No thanks

Clary · 24/04/2010 23:42

I agree, my 8yo DD wears white knickers from M&S like these She seems to have no problems of the kind the OP describes

What's with the "full pants" what the heck are those then?

My DD has never worn a thong thanks all the same.

bruffin · 24/04/2010 23:43

OP is a school uniform fetishist - they keep popping up on here!

Disgusting troll

pigletmania · 24/04/2010 23:57

I hate little girls pants i really do, i am trying to toilet train my dd 3.2 as the weather is great and the girls pants are absolutely flimsy with no material in them whatsoever, especially those of the character variety. The boys however are thick and well made and offer good coverage so YANBU at all. Why dont they make girls pants the same quality as the boys, it seems as though girls are shortchanged in the pants department.

Therefore i have bought my dd boys Postman Pat,ITNG pants. She looks much for comfortable in them than those other flimsy things.

paisleyleaf · 25/04/2010 00:04
Angry
TheFirstLady · 25/04/2010 00:39

I have three DDs. They would all leave home if I bought them those pants.
Now there's a thought...

pranma · 25/04/2010 15:03

Those models are all wearing high heeled 'glass' sandals-weird
I buy M7S knickers for dgd-perfectly comfy and good quality

pinkteddy · 25/04/2010 21:40

paisley leaf - they look perfect but I have never seen them in tescos aged 9-10, I will try to order on line.

My dd is only 6 but needs age 9-10 as she is 130cm tall. I am talking about these kind of pants which is all I can seem to find in dd's size. dd prefers brightly coloured pants to plain white - still in the everything pink and/or flowery mode.

LauraIngallsWilder · 25/04/2010 21:57

Please dont feed the troll pants fetishist!

pinkteddy · 25/04/2010 22:01

sorry didn't even notice any trolling!

bruffin · 26/04/2010 08:04
