God I just associate him, like the others, with Paddy Pantsdown. Now I have peculiar taste in men, fantasy wise, but he is just not attractive.

No, not seen him a few years but as I remember he was a rather attractive man. I used to have a strange thing for John Smith the leader of the labour party who died a few years back. Now that was weird, as I was a mere slip of a girl at the time and he was about as bald, bespectacled and middle aged and ordinary as you can get, plus I don't even vote Labour. I just found his face inexplicably appealing.

I danced with Paddy Ashdown once at barn dance in East Coker (in his Yeovil constituency). He was thought to be sex on legs in the area at the time but it was about 25 years ago.

Ladyanonymous I can also tell you that as a dancer, he had hot elbows. There is a lot of arm linking in barn dances so I had several chances to feel their warmth. I also won a prize in the raffle - a choice of mug with Paddy's face on, and a locally frozen duck.

The duck was delicious.
