to hate singstar?

I mean theres no much worse is there of a sunny evening to have to listen to.

Neighbours somewhere on the block (could have been anyone of 50 houses) doing singstar or similar last night - cue them having a wonderful drunk time whilst the rest of the neighbourhood had to just put up with loud out of tune warbling without even being able to hear the background music!

I had all the windows shut and am double glazed, but even so it was so loud in the bedrooms at 10pm it was like someone was having a full volumed conversation in the boys bedroom. Took DS1 nearly 2 hours to go off, and when I went up it took me putting a pillow over my head!

Karaoke in a pub is one thing, but bloody singstar in peoples house last in the evening I hate. And its only the first weekend of sunshine - just think of all those lovely BBQ weather drunken get togethers they will have in the summer!

Surely I'm not the only one to hate it?!

sorry but they sound like they would be rowdy anyway. DD loves singstar but not late at night obviously

When I lived in South London every Friday night the old peoples home behind us used to have a sing song quite late into the night.

I used to live near a pub that did karaoke. Many a nice evening drink in my yard ruined! Still can't hear "man, I feel like a woman" without cringing. Actually, maybe that's not karaoke's fault....
