To be cross that the step daughter... 11yrs old.. came to us with full body fake tan and red nail varnish today...?

Of course I havent told her i'm cross. I know im not her mother and have no say. Plus I never question her mothers parenting in front of her... but come on people, please tell me im right - 11 is too young surely!

Not up to you.

of course 11 is too young. Unfortunately it is not up to you what her mother chooses to do... mistaken though she may be.

foureleven · 15/04/2010 17:58

You're both so right, it just makes me sooo mad. I guess looking after her 4 nights a week and half the weekend still gives me no rights.. ho hum.
Sad thing is, her dad agrees and it breaks his heart, he has no say either.
I just dont want her to grow up too quick

Tee hee hee...thats pretty bad IMO but as PPs say its not up to you!!

KurriKurri · 15/04/2010 18:02

No not up to you, but you're entitled to have an opinion. For what its worth, I'm not a fan of fake tan at the best of times, let alone on an eleven year old, at that age she is still a little girl.

foureleven · 15/04/2010 18:02

Not so much teeheehee as boohoohoo!

Had she applied it herself? How did she do? Did she smell like a biscuit, have any tips?

foureleven · 15/04/2010 18:14

Haha no she didnt apply it herself. Her mother works a couple of hours a week on a make up counter - She regularly uses the products to sexualise her pre pubesent daughter in this manner

Haha she did smell like biscuit a bit yeah, have always tried to put my finger on what fake tan smells like!
