yeah well you should walk a mile in my shoes

AKMD · 15/04/2010 16:29

YABU and v v judgemental How can you possibly know the individual circumstances of every mumsnetter? They could very possibly have post natal depression or other mental health issues, disturbed childhoods, be unable to afford to be reasonable or have had a very stressful day. Please be a bit more considerate next time you think about making generalised, stereotypical statements like this.

pagwatch · 15/04/2010 16:36

well I wish I was a perfect parent just like you. It must be so great to just be such a perfect person who never makes a mistake and think you are just so bloody perfect all the time.

BariatricObama · 15/04/2010 16:42

yes, but its not my fault. my parents were v. unreasonable and it is learnt behaviour. have you read 'reasons for unreasonableness - how to blame your parents and society for everything' by e.x. plotativeauthor?

Erm isnt the OP having a bit of a joke? Or is everybody else playing along and now I look a bit mad

BigBadMummy · 15/04/2010 16:54

I don't see how I can be since I have been alone in my IL's house with just a dog for company since 10am this morning. All I have done is work. And drink tea.

But if you say I am, then obviously I am.

Oh I did nick a hot cross bun.

Yes, you are right, I have been horribly unreasonable.

TiggyD · 15/04/2010 17:34

It's not me being unreasonable. It's the voices in my head telling me to "kill", "worship Satan" and "stay tuned to Radio 2".

stealthsquiggle · 15/04/2010 17:36

Yes, I know IABU, and I fully plan on continuing to be U. So there.

GinSlinger · 15/04/2010 18:01

I think I should go and start a whole new thread asking if IABU to be completely and utterly devasted that Riven got my name wrong and if this is because she doesn't care enough to invite my 17 children to her colour-co-ordinated wedding.

mumblechum · 15/04/2010 18:23

No offence, but do you know you are toxic AND have Narcissistic Personality Disorder? Hmmm?? No offence, like...

you horrid person, I've just come back from the funeral of my stick insect's grandmother's cousin...of COURSE I needed to spit in the street, buy DD a fruit shoot and eat 14 Easter Eggs while driving my 4x4 over all the pavements and mowing down those suckers who can't afford one.

thats what I thought too

tethersend · 15/04/2010 19:41

And I suppose it's my taxpayer's money that's funding all this so-called 'unreasonableness'?

Tsk. Typical Broken Britain

AKMD · 15/04/2010 19:50

fartblossom yes, we are taking this really seriously...

Defluff · 15/04/2010 19:54

Back when t'were fields t'round t'here, no one was unreasonable. It's a fact. 99.8% of mumsnetters back then were reasonable.

caramelwaffle · 15/04/2010 19:55

YANBU 2b VU - yep, U2.
BVVU: it is Reasonable.

Ergo. YA all being Reasonable.

scottishmummy · 15/04/2010 19:57

walk a mile in my organic fair trade sandals before you say that sister

tethersend · 15/04/2010 20:04

And I suppose those organic fair trade sandals are paid for by us taxpayers?

Tsk.

Immigration. Or something.

EdgeofReason · 15/04/2010 20:16

Never.
I've taken my enormous banker bonus in pound coins this year and its keeping lots of lovely little lorry drivers busy delivering it... and I'll go for a nice NHS referral for my sore back from carting it all around before I swish off to Bupa (with recuperation in Barbados of course keeping the nice BA ladies happy too)
Very hard being this altruistic
