Milk in first or water!

Just for fun this morning, I know it's not really important, but I got into a lively discussion with my friend this morning, when she made a cup of tea, and put the milk in the cup with the tea bag and added the water on top. I said this was wrong, milk in last, we disagree. We finally decided to put it to the mumsnet vote, so come on folks, milk in first or last!?

Pot Tea = milk in cup first.
Bag Tea = milk in cup in last.

Sugar is instrument of Satan in tea so I refuse to address the niceties.

for me, it is water first in both cases. But I do give the water a few secs after boiling before hitting the coffee with it.

I always put tea out of a pot into a cup before the milk as well so I can see how strong it is before adding the requisite amount of milk.

One of my pet hates is when people add milk into my tea mug when the teabag is still in it.
I am really quite anal about it. Water in first, then leave to steep a minute or two, remove teabag and then add milk.
With coffee I generally add the milk first, so the milk doesn't get scalded.
