EVERY day/hour there's a new story about how Labour did blah (this morning, leaflets to cancer patients) then Tories did meh (like complain about NI raise) ... all the time.

Most of this is inconsequential waffle - I don't actually care about Sarah Brown's toes. I don't care that David Cameron's going to be a father again. I don't care that Nick Clegg's wife built a freaking dry stone wall.

I'm still going to vote, but surely all of this wankery is putting voters off actually getting involved?

Just tell me which party's going to screw me over the least and have it over and done with.

No, YANBU. I think the media are trying to sex it up a bit with all this talk of a hung parilament, but it's all blah and meh as you say.

Why on gods earth did Nick Cleggs wife build a dry stone wall?

Something to do with Yorkshire. I wasn't really paying attention. Then they went for a walk in Richmond Park the next day.

Why is the media producing all this twaddle? Are they afraid people might actually vote for policies, rather than personalities?

You are not alone - I was fed up with it even before they announced the date - you know, the date which we've all known for months anyway? - all that seemed to be was the starting gun for a whole month of non-stop pointless wittering about it all. It's like TV shows that are trailed endlessly to drum up your interest - I never watch them, as I was bored of the whole thing before it even launched!

Hear hear! YADNBU.

Do they (media and politicians) think we (the electorate) have just had some sort of mind wipe and have no memory of what the politicians/parties have been saying/doing for the last few years? Sheesh.
