We ordered in Mexican food last night, we ate about half!! So today I got some ready-meal rice and new fajita wraps and we are good to go as far as I am concerned, with last night's leftover chilli and chicken....

DH was expecting some Saturday night extravaganza, clearly, and is a little disappointed

I see it as being getting out of cooking two nights in a row being frugal.

Whaddya reckon?

YANBU - if your dh was expecting an extravaganza perhaps he could have organised it.

I am always a bit iffy about having takeaway meat, the next day, food hygeine and all that

but applaud the non cooking idea

Majestic, I'd come and eat with you! takeaway leftovers are always used the following day in my house if there is enough. It costs more than double a normal meal so if it can last two meals all the better!
