Having had a little prang myself recently I may be a bit more sensitive but in the last 2 weeks I have witnessed 4 (count them!) 4 very very near misses. And they have all been on junctions with a filter light. Drivers see the green light so go ahead and try to turn right or left without taking notice of the fact there is no filter showing, or even more fucking stupid, without seeming to register the fact that there are cars coming directly at them!
First time I was passenger in one of the cars trying to drive ahead when a car almost rammed us from the side. I nearly leapt out of the sun roof . And the others have been when I was on foot and waiting for the pedestrian lights.
There are sometimes accidents on these 2 junctions but over the last 20 yrs only a handful. Have drivers all become mindless idiots recently?
