I am tired, I have been busy with the DC all day, organised dinner etc left my phone charger in the car and "wondered" if DH would grab it for me. He won't!

Wellmaybe he's been busy all day too? How far away is the car fgs?!

JustMyTwoPenceWorth · 09/04/2010 20:55

What's he been doing all day? If lazing on the sofa then YANBU, if he's been at work all day in an office YABabitU, if he works 12 hour shifts down t'pit (not the pit, but you know what I mean) then YABVU and should go peel him a grape or something.

SalFresco · 09/04/2010 20:55

YANBU

EmilyStrange · 09/04/2010 20:56

That sounds like such a typical argument two tired parents have at the end of the day. If you add in a couple of rounds of "I'm more tired than you", "No I'm more tired than you", it could be my house. I think it would be fair to say that reason has left the house for both of you when it gets like that but you have my sympathy .

mazzystartled · 09/04/2010 20:58

hoik yer arse down the path and get it yourself.

there will be much more effort expended in being grumpy with each other.

he can pour you a glass of wine whilst you go

thisisyesterday · 09/04/2010 20:59

how far away is the car? why can't you get it?

it's the kind of thing i might ask my dp to do, but not really expecting him to say yes lol it's just a bonus if he does. i certainly wouldn't be upset if he didn't

Tortington · 09/04/2010 21:00

divorce him the male chauvenist pig i bet hes having an affair with that school friend mum of yours - and you don't even know it

what a wanker - tell him he can kiss your hairy arse

LaurieFairyCake · 09/04/2010 21:02

Have you tried crying?

And whining?

Perhaps with some puppy-wuppy eyes?

If you have tried all of the above get off your arse and get it yourself

And while you're out there get the toffees out the glove compartment

Majestic · 09/04/2010 21:09

TUT MOAN MOAN the car is down the drive, I have driven 250 miles today as I went to visit some friends, with all the DC, for a couple of days....so admittedly he has been at work all day but he has has also had 3 days of blissful, child and wife free Xbox time

Seriously considering offering sexual favours now

jesus steady on love, it'd be less bother to:

(a) get the charger yourself
(b) let the phone battery just die

Tortington · 09/04/2010 21:21

he would of done - but he didn't have a charger

Majestic · 09/04/2010 21:30

its died and you know what, now he's got me a glass of wine and indeed the bottle in a bucket of ice beside me, a fluffy throw and the pouffe thing to rest my weary feet on, I no longer care that its dead, and thank my lucky stars he is such a sweetheart

OP posts:
thisisyesterday · 09/04/2010 21:31

i can't believe he did all that but refused to g4t the charger! lol

Majestic · 09/04/2010 21:36

I know - what a prize He went for the charger after all and has plugged it in by the bed! BLESSSSSSS Maybe he reads mn!?

OP posts:
Tortington · 09/04/2010 21:43

Majestic · 09/04/2010 21:54
