tp be pissed off that my FIL went through all our bags of stuff to recycle and binned stuff and took it home and sorted it into piles

he then made sure this mountain of shite was in his living room in piles (along with all the other assorted shite of his own that he does not and will not sort out)

He spent most of the afternoon telling us off for being so wasteful.

I only wish I could post pictures of his home where 80% of it isn't habitable because he won't throw anything away.

I did forget to add that 50% of it was shite he'd given us, despite protestations from both of us that our house is too small for so much crap.

Pmsl sorry, but our elders always seem to think we waste stuff, just bag everything you have in future and leave it outside his house. maybe he has found a hobby he likes

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 09/04/2010 00:33

Um... he could work as a recycling advisor for the local council or um... something

Sorry but this is a tad funny.

Ballsofsteel · 09/04/2010 00:34

God it's just the whiney preaching, I cannot stand it. Glad it gave you a laugh though!

You will look back at this and laugh aswell. Eventually.

At least he's not nagging you about your sex life or trying to encourage you to have more babies. On the second meeting with ds's grandfather after I had ds (bear in mind ds's father left me when I was 7 months pregnant for another woman and I wanted the bare minimum contact possible), he spent 1 hour trying to convince that children needed siblings (as if I was going to let his son knock me up again! No thanks!!).

Thinking about it, I am sure that I had put a load of nasty pants in the bag and am a bit troubled that he may have them. Yuck.

LilQueenie · 09/04/2010 18:52

I understand and have a similar problem.

Ballsofsteel · 09/04/2010 19:14

Oh shit I cannot find the knicker bag so he definitely has it.

Vomit.

JustMyTwoPenceWorth · 09/04/2010 21:41

I hope that by 'nasty pants' you mean old and greying, not unwashed, stinky with skidmarks.

Ballsofsteel · 09/04/2010 22:36

bit of both and holes.

Or skids.

OP posts:
Katisha · 09/04/2010 22:39

At least he's hoarding it in his house and it's out of yours...

Cannot see the point when people just keep stuff and never ever ever use it again. What are they afraid of if they get rid?

How is it any better to keep it in piles than to send it to recycling. Baffling.

Glitterknickaz · 09/04/2010 22:45

Right Mr Trebus is he?
Ohhh you have my sympathy.... hope you don't have to clear all that when he sadly passes...
