to be fed up with having to be stroppy

I have a bit of an internet shopping habit

In the past few days I've had to phone two diffferent companies to whinge about (1) them delivering the wrong item and (2) a dress than went really wonky after washing. In both cases the person in the phone was very polite but basically useless in a 'nothing we can do ... not my fault' sort of way so I ended up having to be all stroppy to sort things out.

I hate this. I am (usually) pretty polite and doing this makes me feel all grumpy.

AIBU to expect decent service without getting stroppy?

YANBU. It does seem that no-one is ever responsible for anything, esp with anonymous internet shopping and kicking off is the only way to get a resolution. It is bloody annoying. Nothing ever seems to work properly or last very long either, which is another of my pet gripes!

It also seems really unfair that I (usually) get what I want because I'm actually really good at being stroppy

Are you asking for a medal?

YANBU. You shouldn't have to be stroppy to get good service. Unfortunately it seems to be the norm lately.

It is such a shame it gets to the stage where you have to be stroppy- I completley understand and yanbu- so fustrating.
