yes it is rude to take it without asking him or you if he is very young.

tell her its not on and she should ask - its only polite, you are simply teaching DS manners and wouldn't like him to grow up thinking he can take from other ppl willy nilly.

he's 7 and she says "it doesn't matter"

the worst bit is she does it to the halves he's saved for later and declares "you girls (my sister and I) were never that good at keeping your chocolate for later...."

so when ds goes back and unwraps it, almost half is missing!

How bloody rude

Tell her to buy her own egg

I'm astounded that an adult would be so self-indulgent and rude. It's tantamount to stealing. You and your sisters probably didn't save your chocolate because you were afraid Piggy Mummy would eat it!

I'd tell her that she needs to buy him another egg and give him an apology.
