Am I going down with flu or something, but I definetly found the new Dr Who vaguely attractive...is my crush with david tennant over so soon?

PS - I have a 7yr old son, I HAD to watch it..before I get loads of stick!

notnowbernard · 05/04/2010 21:56

YANBU!

taffetacat · 05/04/2010 21:56

YANBU

Its the character. He's so confident. In a good way.

ShowOfHands · 05/04/2010 21:56

He looks a bit, erm, melted? Good doctor though.

JustMyTwoPenceWorth · 05/04/2010 21:58

I think he looks like lurch.

lurch

beanpot · 05/04/2010 21:58

What's his RL name?

JustMyTwoPenceWorth · 05/04/2010 21:59

matt smith

TrillianAstra · 05/04/2010 22:00

He's 27, not 12.

But he's not terribly attractive. The ginger girl is very cute though.

beanpot · 05/04/2010 22:03

Love the Lurch link...

I thought they only bought the 'auburn' girl in with a short skirt to attract all the dads. I have had 7yr old ds ask me today to explain what a kissogram is...!

He was very good in a film about Charles Bronson

He played the lead role, suprisingly... he must have only been about 24 or 25 at the time

EricNorthmansmistress · 05/04/2010 22:45

He's cute but looks like my little brother so I don't find him attractive! But the persona of the doctor is very sexy.

LaurieFairyCake · 05/04/2010 22:48

I like him too.

But I like weirdy, nerdy types

I fancy David Mitchell, Louis Theroux and Patrick Stewart

notnowbernard · 05/04/2010 22:49

YES to Louis!

DitaVonCheese · 05/04/2010 22:51

YABU. I want to give him a slap. I have had my first experience of watching Dr Who this evening and did not enjoy it. Do people really let kids watch it?

YANBU, even though he bares a vague resemblance to a shaved orang-utan.

TiggyD · 06/04/2010 10:41

Men seem quite keen on the new assistant for some reason.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 06/04/2010 11:59

I made a bet with a colleague at work that I wouldnt end up fancying this doctor.
I will not fancy him.
I will no...
oh bugger its gonna happen I just know it!

Psammead · 06/04/2010 12:01

Not my cup of tea - but then DT was always going to be a hard act to follow.

New assistant - agree - v. cute.

notnowbernard · 10/04/2010 09:43

IGNORE my post re MS playing Charles Bronson

Got that completely wrong Actually played by an actor called Tom Hardy

JaneS · 10/04/2010 11:13

I've only ever caught bits of Dr Who like the 2009 special over my DP's shoulder. I watched all of this one though, great stuff!

He is quite nice in a can't-quite-see-why way. She's gorgeous though.

SimonCowellIsSatan · 10/04/2010 12:06

It took me about 2 minutes to fancy him. Sometimes he looks hot as fuck, other times like the last potato left at the bottom of the box at Tesco.

I'd definitely touch his willy though, without a doubt.
