killing endless threads, and watching the tumbleweed roll by, whilst imagining everyone else out having exciting bank holiday fun.

Have an excuse (DS has sickness bug), but still feel like a bit of a billy-no-mates!

Anyone else out there having as an exciting a BH as me???? Helloooooooooooooooo??????

Me! DS and DD are having a nap, didn't go out this morning as we were having a shower fitted. I feel I have wasted the day but I hope it's not too late to take them to the park when they wake up!

mrsboogie · 05/04/2010 15:53

you can't be killing all the threads - I am! I'm having a similar day to you but its through choice as we are very lazy and DS is only 18mo so doesn't really care.

ChairmumMiaowGoingItAlone · 05/04/2010 15:54

me! I am 30 weeks pregnant, overdid it on the housework / gardening at the moment and now have really achey stomach muscles so am forcing myself to rest even though I have a long list of jobs I want to do!

H has DS so at least I don't have to try to run around after him, but it is rather quiet around here!

EggcentricaGallumbits · 05/04/2010 15:55

me. am trying to write dissertation but not getting far. need a 5 minute MN break every 15 minutes of so to stop myself from killing the computer.
also DD2 is being a pain in the rectum.

mistressploppy · 05/04/2010 15:56

Me. DS napping and DH has a sprained ankle. Bo-o-o-ring

MPuppykin · 05/04/2010 16:00

I'm here. Tired, cleaning up after a weekend with a house filled with guests, DH out fulfilling some chores, kitchen like a bomb has hit it and faffing and avoiding washing towels and duvet covers.

have not even dressed yet.

Think I killed the MP's rental thread.

Undercovamutha · 05/04/2010 16:00

Oh, its not just me then - phew.

'fulfilling some chores' interesting grammar, but you know what I mean!

and Damn... hoped my emoticon would get the bunny ears.

Undercovamutha · 05/04/2010 16:11

At least you've had houseguests - Mpuppykin. We've had to cancel all our visitors/visits.

DS is puking timebomb! I have only left the house once in 3 days - and that was to get him some rehydration sachets from the pharmacy!

DH has gone out (obviously ), but has won brownie points for taking DD to FILs for whole of yesterday, leaving me and pukey boy to watch films all day!

MPuppykin · 05/04/2010 16:18

Yes I know re houseguests. Had quite a nice time, but everyone got rip roaring - ahem- 'mellow' (Blind mellow) and I was very

Cannot rouse myself to clean kitchen and I KNOW that will make me feel better! Sunny day though!

Sorry about your son ... and you too!

elmofan · 05/04/2010 16:27

I'm here too done three loads of washing today , popped out for one hour to pick up a few bits from tesco's , got insulted there & came home to Mn to have a moan about it

plimsolls · 05/04/2010 16:40

eggcentia I am doing exactly the same thing! Thank god for MN. At least it is keeping me at the computer.

MadameDefarge · 05/04/2010 21:18

I wish I had spent all day here! Instead I spent it painting and sanding and painting and getting off my face on the fumes and red faced due to allergies....All by myself!
