Well who would like to walk around looking like you have a nappy on tell me! What sane person would have trousers like that they are awful. I am donning hard hat as there might be some hareen pant lovers on MN tonight

I'll join you- I think they look ridiculous. like someone couldn't follow the cutting out pattern problem.

pigletmania · 01/04/2010 22:28

oops sorry I am fat enough already without being made to look like a whale in them and walking round like i have a massive sanitary pad between my legs

What is the point of them! They even make the size 6 models look stupid, like clowns pants. Fashion eh, thats one thing that wont come back round in a hurry.

They would have been pretty useful immediately post baby - let's hope this "fashion" continues for another couple of years!

SirBoobAlot · 01/04/2010 22:30

They chaff like buggery as well I tried some whilst pregnant, figured they might be comfy... Wore them ONCE.

pigletmania · 01/04/2010 22:31

Good old fashioned trakki pants or leggins did me when i was pg with dd.

I thought that Rufus Hound looked rather fetching in them.

differentID · 01/04/2010 22:32

Boob, you are young. I'll forgive you this one transgression.
Just don't do double denim. Please? Everyone will look like Eighties escapees if that really catches on again.

LadyGaga · 01/04/2010 22:34

if you got a fat arse it will look rubbish..

AbsOfCroissant · 01/04/2010 22:35

My name is Abs, and I love hareem trousers.

They are BEYOND comfortable. they don't ride up like trousers do, and they don't blow up or cause you to accidentally flash your knickers like skirts do. I like to wear mine with a coquettish Piratey attitude. They are just awesome.

SirBoobAlot · 01/04/2010 22:38

Cheers Diff And don't worry. I'd be seen naked before I wore double denim.

pigletmania · 01/04/2010 22:38

Thats good Abs its always nice to hear a differing view on these things.

I like them too. I like them on the LO's for comfortability and I like wearing them myself ...especially at festy's!

They might hide the thighs but they show off the waist a treat

Slartybartfast · 01/04/2010 22:39

dd bought a pair
she is 12,
she wore them once, her friends laughed at her,
and she never wore them again

pigletmania · 01/04/2010 22:40

All you hareem pant lovers are obviously blessed with lovely svelt figures

DS brought a mate home tonight & the mate was wearing orange harem pants. He's 16

ilovepiccolina · 01/04/2010 22:43

I thought it was a totally cool look btw.

TheCrackFox · 01/04/2010 22:43

Shit catchers.

paddingtonbear1 · 01/04/2010 22:46
