Hi im 39+4 with DS2 and have been at home today while DP has been at work. My mum has had DS1 (4) for a while as im stuck at home with no car (in garage)& its half term, and to give me a break.
Anyway he comes in from work & moans have I done any cleaning today as the house looks the same as yesterday! I have cleaned the bathrooms (one upstairs/one downstairs) hoovered, dusted, cleaned mirrors, cleaned fire out ready to light later, done 2 loads of washing and general tidy round. He comes in dumps DS1 & fucks off to the gym. I just sent him a text calling him a knob! Unreasonable? I am fuming!!!

Not at all.

Explain that it looks the same as yesterday because it was clean yesterday as well. And that it's his turn to do it next time. After he's made dinner.

I'd kick him off it and ask what he's made for tea?

overmydeadbody · 30/03/2010 18:43

YANBU

Is he always like that?

Pozzled · 30/03/2010 18:43

YABVU. To have done all that cleaning, you should have put your feet up while your mum had DS1. As for your DH- words fail me.

outnumbered2to1 · 30/03/2010 23:10

GypsyMoth · 30/03/2010 23:12
