How do you know what daftpunk would do if she saw an immigrant in distress in the street? Do you think she wouldn't tend to them? I bet some of the holier than thou posters who attack daftpunk would walk on by.

I think the Good Samaritan would help daftpunk.

That is a good attitude, I think, Pofaced. I couldn't see a hardened BNP member helping an immigrant or gay man who had been attacked in the street- they would quite probably assume they had TB or AIDS and refuse to touch them. But I would really really like to think that daftpunk isn't as beguiled by the BNP as she makes out. Sorry your weekend is down the swanny, DP.

Po....Sometimes you have to seperate politics from religion, I would rather help the immigrants we have here already then bring in more, we can't help everyone....If 10 people were drowning I would jump in and save one or two, I wouldn't be able to carry everyone...we'd all go under.

People on this thread began attacking daftpunk and made jokes about lynching her even though she had not made prior racist or bigoted statements on this thread. I hope you are able to love daftpunk as yourself. If you can, then God will reward you.

I don't believe in God though. I just don't believe racism and homophobia are right though. I really struggle with how to take DP in the light of this, even though I have had lots rapport with her before the BNP stuff reared its ugly head. My own experience of them includes having them threaten my family, and I just can't see them as any kind of answer to anything.

Oh, and my family weren't targetted for race reasons, btw, but for Trade Union activism. We had to install a peephole and extra security after another activist was slashed with a knife on his doorstep in front of his eight year old daughter. Daftpunk- I know you support workers' rights: be aware that the BNP aren't that happy about people who fight for them. I really wish you could see them for what they are.

The thing is, lots of immigrants who you welcome into this country, who you think add diversity and give us so much....they have appalling attitudes to homosexuals, and women, what is your view on that?

The vast majority of BNP voters are not racist, they just want to send a message to this government that we have had enough. Labour have ruined this country with mass immigration and people want to protest about that. That is their democratic right. The BNP will never run the country, anyone who thinks they will is seriously deluded...but I think it's important that they are there...If you allow too many left-wingers to get on with it you end up with Harriet Harman and Peter Mandelson...
