So if I'm not, how exactly do I get into a whole watermelon without splashing more of my blood over the kitchen?

(sorry to ask here but it's the busiest place and the unborn baby NEEDS it )

@ samuri sword. I use my largest kitchen knife and slice in half down the middle. Then it's easier to cut and will stay still, if you stand up on the cut edge.

Drop it on the floor. DS did this in a supermarket, it broke into many pieces. He's 25 now, but I still occasionally call him 'watermelon boy'

(less effort needed)

It's ok, Thanks.

I hit it with a blunt kitchen knife (Must buy some decent one's) and rolled it off the kitchen counter.

It split right in half, and now baby is happy. lol.
