I spilled some sour cream on the floor just now, then I wiped it up with a wet wipe.

What barely notable things happened to you today?

I was forced up at 5.30 am this morning by 6 month old ds. I have ahd numerous cups of tea as a result. Dd (3.5 woke up at 8.40 and has watched dvds since then. I have no creative Mummy energy today.

Shockers -sorry just got back to this thread. The nail varnish remover was to make sure the buggers were well and truly dead-they have been known to revitalise and crawl out of the pot ready to strike again...

I made soup and just burnt myself blitzing it

I misted my seedlings. I did a little happy dance when I saw the runner beans had sprouted.

I had a cry in the toilets at work when DP called me to tell me that the poem we'd chosen for his lovely mum's funeral programs had made his dad cry.

I got a new radiator key and enjoyed bleeding my radiators. AND found out my clematis had not died in the winter. Happy, happy day.

I sat in my car on the petrol station forecourt this morning sobbing. Must have looked like a lunatic

I wasted 15mins of my life staring at about 2000 different types of lightbulb in Tesco, not really knowing which type I needed. That almost made me cry, too

I picked up some litter outside my home.

Got to the dentist early so had to wait in the car till they unlocked the front door.

Used a clever compressed air thing to clear the blocked drain in our shower. V. satisfying.

I have collated all our loose single bags of crisps together in one large carrier bag and hung it up tidily.

Phew - it's all go!

I have managed to find a toilet roll holder when i was out shopping this morning!!

i have declined an invite to a family holiday which will make me unpopular but has taken my possible stress away

I was woken up by a delivery man, who got to see me in my pink fluffy dressing gown. When he said "wakey wakey" while i signed for it i almost hit him.

I am currenlty on hold to the AA helpline. Quietly losing the will to live.
