I spilled some sour cream on the floor just now, then I wiped it up with a wet wipe.

What barely notable things happened to you today?

Drew the curtains in the DCs bedrooms this evening even though it is the first weekend they are both staying 2 nights away at their father's house. Didn't seem right not to close the curtains

BelleDameSansMerci · 26/03/2010 21:10

I drove DD to nursery and we sang "Roary, The Racing Car" theme tune at the tops of our voices.

I went to Toys'R'Us to get birthday present for DD's friend's birthday tomorrow.

I work full time btw but mostly from home. My duties do not include trips to Toy'R'Us.

DD and I danced like loons before bathtime this evening.

Thank you for asking.

posieparker · 26/03/2010 21:11

I cooked roasted belly pork with enough crackling to feed the street and then we all decided we weren't really hungry.

usualsuspect · 26/03/2010 21:14

I got to work 10 minutes early

MrsDermotOleary · 26/03/2010 21:17

I held my friend's newborn baby and fed him a bottle of milk. I enjoyed every second and now feel a little broody. Although not as broody as dh

onepieceoflollipop · 26/03/2010 21:17

dd sang "we wish you a Merry Christmas" in the car, as she has done every single day since Christmas.

We went to the park and met 6 lovely dogs (separate dogs, not all the same family) Some of them were called Reggie, Lady, Rosie and Cola. dd kept saying she wanted to "roke" them (stroke them - she is 2)

We met a lady from church and as we walked away at the top of her voice dd commented "oh x is so nice" - x could still hear and was like this: (she is really nice actually)

sazzerbear · 26/03/2010 21:17

I bought some purple sprouting broccoli from the monthly market

WorzselMummage · 26/03/2010 21:17

I went on the train.

I sang the alphabet 30+ times.

usualsuspect · 26/03/2010 21:18

I remembered to take my bags for life to Asda

scottishmummy · 26/03/2010 21:21

onepieceoflollipop · 26/03/2010 21:22

Worzsel I hope you had dcs with you!

baskingseals · 26/03/2010 21:23

ate food I hadn't cooked, my friend's chickpea and aubergine curry - bloody lovely it was

dd dug up a rat trap and chucked it in a bush

bought ds1 a crap plastic helicopter from the pound shop, but it cost £2

had lunch in a graveyard

bought sausages on tick from the butcher

lent dd's friend's mum the ikea catalogue

KKKKaty · 26/03/2010 21:33

I went into town with a list of about ten things to buy and ended up buying none of them.

chixinthestix · 26/03/2010 21:33

My dd sang 'give me oil in my heart till the break of day' like she does every day even though I try and teach her the right words every day.

I cleaned a half inch thick layer of dust off the top of the kitchen cabinets. No-one will notice except me but it felt good.

randomrabbit · 26/03/2010 21:39

I've just been for a wee

BettyButterknife · 26/03/2010 22:05

I asked a shop assistant in M&S a question, and while DS and I waited for her to come back with the answer we sang 'Ring a ring o' roses' complete with actions. I'm pregnant and found it quite hard to jump up with a 1-2-3.

Southwestwhippet · 26/03/2010 22:22

I drove up to feed my pony but because it was raining and really muddy I just threw the hay over the gate and didn't even go in.

I also made DD (8weeks) 'play the piano' by sitting her on the keyboard and sliding her up and down. She looked a bit worried about the low notes.

JaynieB · 26/03/2010 22:27

I went out for lunch and had a roast pork sandwich and chips and a glass of red wine.

hmc · 26/03/2010 22:30

I got up in the clothes I went to bed in (too tired to change out of them before going to bed), made breakfast for the kids and dropped them off at school - still in the same clothes. I hope I didn't smell. Eventually showered and changed at 11.00

Poledra · 26/03/2010 22:32

I took DDs 2 and 3 swimming.

I made artichoke soup for lunch, and then potato gratin and lamb chops for dinner. Both meals were rather tasty (though the chops and gratin were better).

DD3 managed 3 dirty nappies in an hour

chaostrulyreigns · 26/03/2010 22:36

Managed to stop myself being judgey about wee little girl at softplay area who had pierced ears.

Convinced myself it must be for medical reasons.

bibbitybobbityhat · 26/03/2010 22:40

I did an Ocado shop and used my £20 off voucher just in time for the deadline tomorrow.

SinninHinny · 26/03/2010 22:41

I bought new shoes. They're lovely

MavisGrind · 26/03/2010 22:45

This is the thread Martin Parr would write.

It's quite lovely really

randomrabbit · 26/03/2010 22:47

I'm slightly drunk
